In connections with Nordic Choir and Cultural Festival the nordic choral conductor associations organizes a conference with the theme: Choral singing in the nordic languages
27th-29th June this year the Nordic Choral Associations organizes a Nordic Choral Conductor Conference in Aarhus. The Choral Conference immediately preceding the Nordic Choir and Cultural Festival (June 29-July 4) and there will be given a nice discount if you as member of one of the choral associations sign up for both the conference and festival.
If you participate in Conductors Track or Masterclass at Nordic Choir and Cultural Festival the associations gives 600,-DKK in discount on your participation in Nordisk Korlederkonference 2010.

There is strong support for the Nordic Choir and Cultural Festival, but there is still room for you or your entire choir.
There are at 1. March 15 enrolled choir from Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark with a total of 450 persons and about 300 individuals enrolments. Along with 210 people from the 7 choirs in the Choir Competition, a total of 960 festival participants.

There are new prices on food for children under 12 years:
• Breakfast at 35 DKK pr. day
• Lunch at 40 DKK pr. day
• Dinner at 50 DKK pr. day
Meals must be ordered together with the enrolment.

The Nordic Choir and Cultural Festival has decided that conductors who are accompanying their own choir, is exempt from paying the participation fees.

It is now possible for companions to join the Nordic Choir and Culture Festival 2010. When you sign up as a companion you will get the opportunity to participate in the opening concert, morning and evening sessions and book low price concert tickets and meals. The price is DKK 200 pr. person Signup here.

The interest for the Aarhus International Choir Competition next year has been
overwhelming.
Having gone through the many CDs, NKKF has decided to invite 8 choirs for the competition in 2010:

• Kammerkoret Camerata, Denmark
• Suisapäisa Mixed Choir, Estonia
• Sofia Vokalensemble, Sweeden

• Junges Vokalensemble, Germany
